SMOKING TIPS FOR YOUR STEAKS

Very simple tip I give to folks about using wood chunks on your gas or charcoal grill for enhancing the flavor of you grilled items:  Pick up the grate (use tongs or plyers when hot)  and lay a wood chunk or two right down on the flames and let it burn.  OF COURSE KEEP SOME WATER OR A SPRAY BOTTLE AROUND TO KNOCK IT DOWN IF IT GETS OUT OF CONTROL!  Using this method, you get flavor two ways, once from the burning flames and once from the smoke.  DELICIOUS!
